Good News for Broadcom Chipset User

All suc, but my ps3 controller don't send or pc don't recive because when i go to device management it is there, but it just do nothing, no errors anywhere.

It works but it’s a bit tricky to get them to work correctly. I’ve been testing for a couple of days now and it seems that if there’s too much input from both controllers at the same time you get all sorts of problems controllers disconnect, input is mixed up (input to controller 1 results in actions of player 2) buttons stop working while others don’t.So what I’m doing right now is one controller in usb and the other on BT, and it’s been fine so far.Anyone with the same problems? I’m on win7 x64 internal Broadcom bt

1. Create a disconnect button for the bluetooth (the controller won't turn off after it is paired)
2. Create a program that would automatically uninstall DS3 related drivers
   when exiting DS3 Tool.  Also, automatically install DS3 related drivers
   upon opening DS3 tool.  (This will enable me to use my BT Dongle via my
   original driver when not playing)
3. Create a program where the DS3 Tool can memorize paired address.  You can also manually typing down the address.
4. Do something about switching between USB and BT.  It confused the hack out of the controller.  Whenever it is plugged in, a new USB controller is installed while the BT controller is rendered not functional.  Unplug it, the BT controller still not functional.  One has to uninstall all driver through device manager and reinstall all drivers to pair the BT controller again.

Doesnt work with my built-in bluetooth of macbook pro 13" 2010 =(, well i may have to buy a bt but anyway thanks acxie =D -BoteRock

Working perfectly with mt broadcomm 2045 BT dongle. The only bad thing is that i can't turn my controller off. I pressed the ps button for a minute and it didn't turn off.THX motioninjoy!!

thanks acxie, working on my broadcom adapter BCM2045 using win 7 x64. the only problem is when turning the controller off, you have to keep the ps button pressed for 10 seconds

Now, I installed the new one on top.  I did properly uninstall old drivers. DS3_TOOL shows up as 0.5.0000.The driver shows up as 0.0.0000.  Does the new one include a driver?Of course it doesn't work because there's no driver.

Thank you for the update, I can now use my broadcom BT dongle, but I've noticed that there are some problems with the viberation, in NFS Shift, the viberation stops suddenly for a minute then goes back to work then stops again. It's a bug I guess in the new version.

It's awesome connected and no BSOD only problem now is that i can't get the controller to respond.It's connected but in game controller panel nothing will respond no sticks, no buttons nothing.I'm baffled =/

Great news, can't wait to finally be able to use bluetooth

1. Bluetooth doesn't work. I am using WIDCOMM Broadcom 2046 BT.
   Every time I press load on Driver Manager of MotioninJoy (0.5), my
   "Broadcom 2046 Bluetooth 2.1 USB UHE Dongle" driver under Bluetooth
   Device of Windows Device Manager automatically disappear.  I can no
   longer use the bluetooth without the driver.Perhaps installing
   another extra device under Bluetooth Devices would solve the problem?
2. Bluetooth pairing is very annoy. Sixaxis is a very simple minded device. 
   Sony installed a bluetooth in there.  I believe it works just like any
   bluetooth device.  Any bluetooth device must have pass key for pairing. 
   I understand that you want the controller to be detected using DS3
   Tool.  The part of inserting pass key is ignored.  I suggest it'd be
   better for each individual's bluetooth driver software to detect the
   device rather than using DS3 Tool.  In this way, you don't have to make
   DS3 conform to the device of each brand of BT.  It's too much work and
   too complicated.
3. Please make the BT mimicking the real PS3.Whenever I plug in the USB
   onto a PC, the controller reads the paired signal.  I press pairing, it
   immediately flashes a port number (1 - 4).  I unplug the USB, the
   controller turns off and won't turn back on (no matter how I press the
   PS button) unless I replug the USB.On PS3, according to the
   PS3 manual, the controller automatically pair with the PS3 whenever I
   use the USB.  The all 4 light flashes indicating it's charging.  It
   turns off whenever charge is complete.  At no time when the controller
   is plug onto a USB does the flash light indicating that it has
   registered for 1 port.The USB and the BT function of MotioninJoy
   is conflicting.  The controller which is designed for PS3 doesn't know
   there's 2 situations (USB vs BT) which it is suppose to be active.I
   recommend to design two different drivers to accommodate USB and BT. 
   It won't cause logical conflict which ultimately prevent the controller
   from turning on.

good news man. now im just gonna wait for a more stable bersion for x64 windows 7. mines keep getting bsod every time i try to pair. it says something about flood.

this is also the broadcom card BCM5784M i have on my dell xps studio 1640 with onboard bluetooth via "wireless 370 bluetooth mini card" i am having zero luck getting this to work and have searched with no results. Is onboard bluetooth an option at this point?
