MotioninJoy simulate Xbox 360 controller(virtual Xinput device)

Hi, I really had a lot of trouble to find the good way to instal it, but finally it works for me on Dirt2 with windows 7 x64. Thanks, you did a really good job, but the tutorial is a bit messy!!

Does it support to XBOX360 Vibration on PC
and need the specific BT chips for support?

This driver causes MAJOR stability issues with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and the game "Bully: Scholarship Edition."It works fine for a bit, but after a while of gameplay the driver will crash, after which Windows will report that the Xbox 360 Controller for Windows has malfunctioned.  Also, after this happens it is no longer possible to manually close the DS3 tool or kill the process, Windows will throw an Access Denied error in the Task Manager.  Finally, after the driver crashes or whatever, explorer.exe and the Windows Management Console both lock up, forcing a full reboot of the system - restarting or shutting down from the Start Menu results in the system freezing on the Logging Off... message.

no matter what I did i could not get it to register as an xbox 360 controller. installed the xbox drivers, installed the motioninjoy while driver enforcement was disabled, then it registered as Motioninjoy virtual xinput device, switched it to digital pad, it installed a hid device and a mouse device at this point, but still remained a virtual xinput device under device manager. for anyone in the same boat, i fixed this by updating the driver, browse computer, let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer. it showed two options to choose from, Motion-In Joy USB Gamepad, and MotioninJoy Virtual Xinput Device for Windows. At this point, uncheck the "show compatible hardware" box. 4 drivers from Microsoft will now be available to choose from, two of them for 360 gamepads. choose "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows Version: 6.1.7600.16385 [21/6/2006]" and it installed and worked instantly. although the other controller driver from microsoft is from a more recent date ([13/8/2009]) it did not work for me. most likely becase 6.1.7600.16385 is the final build (actually the final build was 7600.16386, but whatever) of Windows 7, and I am running Windows 7 64-bit. I hope this helps anyone who hasn't been able to get this up and running.

All works fine but the z axis seems to be inverted for me
Is there a solution fo this?

I need help, i have done  all of your description, if i click Digital Gamepad (dpad without joystick) nothing happens. Drivers are installed on the way wich you have described. i'm despairing, whats wrong with my computer:(Please help Acxie

You know what would be nice ? If you could make a driver installer similar to your "Install USB driver" and "Install Bluetooth driver"... If you could make the same installer for this xbox360 driver, it would be really useful I guess.... But I bet you thought of that yourself :)I couldn't make it work with current available method :I  ... Someting windows tells me when I try to install the "MijXinput.inf" , it's not because of the signature, that's for sure...Anyway, it works like a charm with the motionjoy driver, so thanks a lot ! I've been waiting for proper dirvers for so long... Thank you.

On Windows 7 64bit

Before this, I was having a lot of frustration trying to get Lego Indiana 2 to work with my PS3 controller.

This driver works perfectly. My Sixaxis (original) acts just like an Xbox 360 controller.

I hope you can find a fix for the Driver Signing issue. I always forget to select it on boot-up and have to restart again!

Please keep working and making this better and better. You're making a lot of people happy. :)

doesnt work no matter what the fuck i do it just doesnt want to be an xbox 360 controller, i keep enabling digital gamepad in the ds3 tool but when i close it and open it up again its in fucking analog mode! im so fucked off cos it seems to work perfect for everyone else and all i want to do is fucking play splinter cell, i will donate if you can sort this shit out.

it is very nice =D thank you a lot but...since i updated the driver, the custom profiles aren't working anymore, but if i select one of the predefined options it works as it should ;)thank you ;) bye

I have 2 ps3 controller and i installed them using virtual Xinput  on each usb port, they both work fine and show up when i press the ps3 button but when i open a game everything freezes and the usb ports fail to respond... making me have to reboot... i cant not get them to work no matter what but they work individualily fine not connected together. am i doing something wrong or is it a limitation?

Hello,i have windows xp 32bit, i've downloaded the 360 driver and installed  it, then ive downloaded the motioninjoy 0400A . Nothing hapens when i klick on MijXinput.inf, only all of my desktop icons blink once.ive enabled Digital Gamepad(Dpad,without joystick) ,too.but my game controller panel shows me only MotioninJoy USB Game Controllerplease help

By your testing I think this is a workable way to simulate Xbox 360 controller.
I plan to transplant to Bluetooth.of course please give me some time. This version has a new  frame of program so I have to expend large time to improve it.

BTW:
If you feel MotioninJoy is a useful program please help to disseminate MotioninJoy and someone to install it.

I said it was working perfectly before, but it doesnt. Once I get everything running and restart, it prevents my computer from booting up. It goes to the desktop with just a taskbar and sits there forever. I had to go into safe mode and remove the driver so I could boot up again.
