1.In Device manager, look for USB human interface device.right click "USB Input Device" check the VID&PID as follows
2.Click Update Driver select "Browse my computer for driver software"
3.Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
4.Select "Have Disk..."
5.Navigate to "X:\Program Files\MotioninJoy\ds3\drivers"
6.Select "MotioninJoy Virtual Xinput device for Windows" and click Next
7.Select "install this driver software anyway"
8.Your Device Manager will like it as follows.
9.Press ps button,now you can use sixaxis or dualshock3 as a general gamepad

I just tried it and it worked for me. Well it looks like the consumerization of IT is not that difficult after all. It's easy to learn new stuff and when you don't know something you always have the Internet to support you with the new stuff.
Where is it?
Whenever I try to use the MijXinput file all that show up is a .inf file. I am in no way computer saavy, so any help is appreciated.

ummm all I had to do was disables the unsigned driver thingy load up the instal and boom it works no device managing required when I opened it up it was like ps3 controller and I was like yeah toataly!
Can't get ANYTHING to work
I have Windows 7, 64 bit. I installed Motionjoy, but it doesn't include a sixds3.inf driver with it. So instead, I tried but that did come with it, mijUfilt, didn't work. I tried mijBThid, the other thing, it too didn't work. I ran the other thing as Administrator, it also doesn't work. I tried running Disable Driver Signature Enforcement, it messes up my computer, giving me a blue screen, and restarting every time. This is a brand new Dell computer. And while my computer can detect my PS3 controller, Motioninjoy's DS3 Tool says there are no controllers detected. I have no idea what else to do. Any help would be appresiated.

3 Problems
I have windows 7 RC 64bitThe first problem is that i have 6 different "USB device input", so i don't know which to choose.The second one, is when i instal "MotioninJoy_0200_amd64.exe" there is no "sixds3" in the instal folder, so when i try to instal it i chose "MijUfilt".Third probleme when i try to instal "MijUfilt" windows say the driver don't have a signature. whereas i have boot by pressinf F8 in no signature diagnostic mode (sorry for the windows function name my windows seven is in French)What i have to do to solve this problem?

hhhmmm, when booting your PC press F8 and disable the signature thing at the bottom it should work then, it did with me

I'm getting the same error as Dhakkon I'm still trying to figure out
how to disable it. The problem is I know NOTHING about the driver
structure, lol. I could just open up the controller and pull out the
chip, but I want to be able to use it on PS3 still without it going
crazy at me. Any way to disable it with SOFTWARE?

managed to make the pc recognize my DS3, the only problem is that the
motion sensor seems to be always on so i can not map any button on any
games because everytime i try i get sensor axys as the button mapping.
What should i do yo disable it?

STEP5: i need to chooose the sixds3 file.

The drivers don't have to be signed as there are ways around that.
