Uninstall Solved!

I followed these instruction, which I found in another forum, and it worked like magic: To finally get rid of these drivers if you installed them for bluetooth, follow this guide (For Windows 7):-Navigate to Control Panel > Device manager > Microsoft Common Controller For Windows Class > Motioninjoy Virtual Xinput Device For Windows.Don't click uninstall from here, but instead right click and then choose "properties".Next select the "driver" tab at the top, then at the bottom choose "uninstall", then in the new window that opens place a tick in the box to "delete the driver software for this device", then click OK and you are done, it should now be gone. You should now be able to plugin your bluetooth device without getting those motioninjoy drivers back ever again!

This program never worked and

This program never worked and now after uninstalling it, it still loads...WTF ?The step for uninstalling it does not even work. Stay away from this ill-conceived piece of crap software! Why don't you release a clean uninstaller instead.

uninstall

http://www.motioninjoy.com/wiki/en/help/uninstall This should make things clear.  It removes the driver, the program, the registry entry, and the problem!I used steps 1 - 3, and yes I had to reinstall the motion joy program, plug in a ps3 controller, exit motioninjoy, uninstall motioninjoy, leave the controller plugged in, go to device manager, go to category it shows in the step 3 picture, right click and uninstall the thing it shows in the step 3 picture, uninstall the driver with it, and finally use my xbox controller which will actually work properly in the game from the start.  Such hassle just because ps3 controllers aren't setup for pc gaming.  Oh well, can't blame people for trying to save $50!

It wont close

when ever i try to open it comes up with Ds3 tool is running please exit DS3 tool to continue" and whenever i press ok it come strait back up with another one. Ive checked everywhere to see if it is open and it isn't and when i try to uninstall it it wont work please help.

I WANNA COMPLETELY GET RID OF

I WANNA COMPLETELY GET RID OF ALL THE MOTIONJOY COMPONENTS ON MY PC AN THERE ARE STILL SOME DRIVERS LEFT OVER WHICH I CANT FIND. I WENT ON CONTROL PANEL AND UNINSTALLED AND DELETED ALL THE DRIVERS ON THE HUMAN INTERFACE SECTION FOR ALL THE USB PORTS AND I WENT ON PROGRAM FILES TO FIND THE MOTIONJOY FOLDERS AND DELETED THEM YET EVERY TIME I PLUG IN THE CONTROLLER THE DRIVERS REINSTALL.

Hi, did you get a solution to

Hi, did you get a solution to this as i have the same problem.. let me know.. tx

Dude...

I enjoyed the MotionJoy stuff, but honestly it kind of, you know screwed up my configuration. If you follow the tutorial you should be able to get your PC back to normal, I'll tell you what I did FOR WINDOWS XP.Closed the DS3 program, uninstalled it using the Add or Remove Programs menu and then (as the Dualshock 3 was still being recognized by the T60P LAPTOP) I entered the Hardware Administration tools on System (control panel) and then right clicked the option inside "XBOX 360 PERIPHERALS" and selected UNINSTALL. Then it was all cool...BUT!!! Now I have this issue, everytime I press the PS button on my PS3 it tries to be recognized by the PC. I mean, they blink a little and then turn off. What do I do for this to not happen and have the lights blinking for long, trying to pair the PS3? I can't try if the Dualshock 3 is cool with my console because I don't have it right now. If I press the RESET button, will this still happen? Will this affect anything when trying to use the pad with the console? Help please!

in reply to DUDE...

connect the ps3 controller to the ps3 with a usb cord... it should bluetooth pair with that instead

Dude PART TWO.

And... I used to try the USB port of the laptop as a charger most of the time, when I'm not using it, but it's strange... You know when you put your controller to charge the four led lights should blink to notify that to you, but now that port (only free one I have) it's blinking like this (numbers are the leds on the Dualshock 3 controller): 2, 3 and then 4... off, except 1... 3, 4... off, except 1... 2, 3 then for again, like "loading" and I guess all four leds will blink or be on all time when the controller is fully loaded...? I mean, is the controller still charging when I plug it to that port and that happens? PLEASE ANSWER, PLEASE!!!!!
