Everyone Thank Break very much!
- First, of course, you need to download the files. Go to the download page and choose the files that correspond to your system -- 32bits for x86 and 64bits for x64.
- After the download is finished you'll end up with a .rar file, extract and run the .exe that's inside it. If you want to specify where to
install it, the first step will give you the option. Otherwise, just use the default (C:\Program Files\MotioninJoy\ds3) to avoid any future issues. - If you have a 32 bit (x86) system, you can skip this step, but x64 users need to restart their computers now. Hold F8 upon startup and choose the "Disable Driver Signing Enforcement" option (keep in mind that you will have to do this every time you restart your computer if you want to use unsigned drivers. I feel that this is currently the easiest and most simple method to do this), then do the next step.

- Use USB to connect your PS3 controller. Regardless of whether it's a SIXAXIS or DUALSHOCK3, WINDOWS will install it's own drivers. You can even see it in the Game Control Devices in the Control Panel, but it
won't work. I'm not actually sure if Sony did that on purpose, but in
any case.. everything looks normal, it just won't work. - Start->All Programs->MotioninJoy->Install USB Driver Right
click and use the "Run as administrator" option. After several seconds,
Notepad will pop up and give you the install status. If the last line
is “SUCCESS: installed package C:\Program
Files\MotioninJoy\ds3\drivers\MijUfilt.inf.” then the drivers installed
correctly. (Note that if you want to use a different USB port, you will
have to repeat this step.) - First hit the PS button to wake up the controller (you will have to do that every time you turn off the computer or disconnect the USB cable)
then navigate to Control Panel->Devices and Printers->Game
Controllers. You can press buttons here and see them reacting. The
analog isn't going to work just yet, don't worry. - Go to Start->All Programs->MotioninJoy->DS3 TOOL Here you can choose between 4 profiles and the vibration function.
- Digital Gamepad(Dpad, without joystick) Digital set up, Dpad works off of the X/Y axis. This is like the PS1 controller, works well for soccer games.
- Analog Gamepad1(POV,Joysticks)Dpad is set to POV/hat switch, the 2 analog sticks are set up on the X,Y, Z and RZ axes. This is like a PS2 controller and is currently the most used.
- Analog Gamepad2(POV,Joysticks,Analog Triggers)Dpad is set to POV/hat switch, the 2 analog sticks are set up on the X,Y, Z and RZ axes, L2 and R2 are also on an axis. This works well for racing games and is similar to the XBOX 360 controller.
- Analog Gamepad3(POV,Joysticks,Analog Triggers,Motion sensor) This is similar to Gamepad2 with the added effect of motion sensors. At the moment it's not very practical.
- Emulate Xinput Imitates the XBOX 360 controller. Is currently greyed out because it's still unusable.
- Enable vibration Enables vibration. [duh]
- Enable Option Applies the above settings.
- If you only want to use USB, you should be able to operate it normally from here.
- Bluetooth instruction.

VW done on making the drivers so far but..
Personally i have issues with the L2 and R2 and vibration, L2+R2 will not work no matter whether i choose buttons or axes and same for vibr. yet every other button, perfect. Using 0.3 since i had problems with the driver for 0.4 nd 0.5. 0.5 would not install after following uninstall to the letter and 0.4 seemed buggy. I'm using a madcatz ps3 usb wireless pad, which comes with a usb wl dongle, no wire.. i think it may have been the ids within the ini for the latest drivers, yet i'm no driver expert.. anyway if anybody could offer help with my l2+r2 issue, that would b great. Ta!

RZ-axis not working.
Whenever I play through Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 on my Sixaxis, everything works. X, Y, and Z axes all function. The RZ-axis, though, doesn't work; the only way I can turn left or right is through pressing R2 (default), but that only rotates me 180 degrees--not exactly a good thing in tight hallways. Anyone know a solution to the problem?

X Axis won't work
Wonder if anyone could help me - I used a different program the other day and everything worked fine, then out of the blue it wouldn't go left to right on the x axis on the analog, every other button works. I went into control panel (on xp by the way) and sure enough nothing is registering on the x axis and the little x is all the way to the right. Controller works on ps3 and worked before. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled, uninstalled and then installed this (which seems like a better program) yet same problem. Anybody have any ideas on how to rectify this?thanks.
